Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing multiple types of gamma cameras, and administering radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, including preparing exam rooms, communicating with patients, and obtaining informed consent when necessary.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV, utilizing proper injection techniques, and prepare exam rooms for patients.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete exams, and prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB as CNMT registry.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
