Position OverviewRole Summary: The Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector Level II is tasked with the execution of planning, development, and implementation of activities that bolster Enjet Aero's Quality Management System. This position ensures adherence to AS9100, AS13100, and client specifications, with potential training opportunities that may involve travel. The role reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform Fluorescent Penetrant inspections within a manufacturing environment
- Assess parts and make determinations regarding acceptance or rejection
- Document and communicate FPI testing results
- Analyze inspection outcomes and assess product acceptability
- Identify and rectify potential defect causes
- Utilize NDT systems for part inspections
- Conduct process control evaluations
- Execute NDT inspections for compliance auditing
- Serve as a vital resource for supervisors in troubleshooting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
- Support and maintain the quality management system
- Exhibit qualities of dependability, focus, reliability, flexibility, and compliance with company policies
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Level II certification in NDT Fluorescent Penetrant inspection
- Fundamental understanding of ISO 9001:2000 standards at a minimum
- Familiarity with AS 9100 standards is a plus
- Experience conducting FPI for aerospace firms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
