Job Summary

At Whitcraft, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled NDT Inspector II to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate materials and parts to ensure they meet quality control standards
  • Interpret and evaluate indications from non-destructive testing techniques
  • Investigate and resolve technical interpretation queries
  • Set up and calibrate non-destructive equipment
  • Review drawings, specifications, and procedures
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results
  • Create corrective plans for defects
  • Ensure rejected work is repaired or replaced
  • Perform routine maintenance checks

Requirements
  • NAS410 Level II Certification
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of inspection equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak standard English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Knowledge of shop geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Successfully pass vision screen

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in Non-Destructive Testing Technology
  • 5+ years relevant experience
