Enhance Student Well-Being: School Psychologist Opportunity

Soliant Education is in search of a dedicated School Psychologist to contribute to the academic and emotional growth of students. This full-time, on-site role is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive educational environment for students from preschool through high school.

Position Overview:

As a School Psychologist, your primary focus will be on promoting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. You will work collaboratively with educators, school administrators, and families to cultivate a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering psycho-educational evaluations to assess student needs and learning preferences across various age groups.
  • Creating and executing individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers and guardians.
  • Offering both individual and group counseling to help students navigate academic and emotional hurdles.
  • Advising educators and school leaders on strategies to enhance student achievement across all grade levels.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Implementing crisis intervention strategies and providing assistance during challenging circumstances.
  • Staying informed on the latest developments in school psychology and applying evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio State School Psychologist License.
  • Preferred experience in a school environment.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, learning theories, and intervention methods suitable for various age groups.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Skilled in report writing and data interpretation.
