Enhance Student Development: School Psychologist

Soliant Education is in search of a committed and enthusiastic School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services aimed at fostering student growth and success across various educational levels.

Position Overview:

In the role of School Psychologist, you will be instrumental in promoting the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral health of students. Your collaboration with educators, school leaders, and families will be key in establishing a nurturing and secure educational atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering psycho-educational evaluations to assess student needs and learning preferences across all grade levels.
  • Creating and executing tailored educational plans (IEPs) in partnership with teaching staff and parents.
  • Offering both individual and group counseling to tackle academic, social, and emotional hurdles faced by students.
  • Advising educators and school administrators on effective strategies to enhance student achievement.
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary team discussions to provide a holistic approach to student support.
  • Implementing crisis intervention strategies and offering assistance during critical situations.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest developments in school psychology and applying evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio State School Psychologist License.
  • Prior experience in a school environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent developmental stages, learning theories, and age-appropriate intervention techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Skilled in report writing and data interpretation.
