Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Addison Group. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the full billing cycle, handling claims, posting payments, resolving discrepancies, and assisting patients with billing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Billing: Complete full-cycle medical billing, including follow-ups, denials, appeals, and payment posting.
  • Patient Collections: Conduct soft patient collections and handle billing inquiries.
  • Insurance Communication: Work directly with insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
  • Account Management: Manage up to 70 accounts per day in a focused, heads-down work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in medical billing (front or back-end).
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), experience communicating with insurance companies via phone and portals, strong typing and data entry skills, including ten-key proficiency.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in specialty areas like Cardiology, Orthopedics, Surgery, Oncology, etc.
