The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of dietetics and nutrition principles, utilizing evidence-based research to inform their practice.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited dietetics program and a current license/registration with the Commission for Dietetic Registration (CDR) are mandatory. An active dietetics license in Louisiana is also essential. Additional knowledge or certification in physical fitness or personal training is advantageous.

Applicants should have three to five years of relevant dietetic experience, alongside strong competencies in:
- Team collaboration
- Organizational skills
- Time management
- Effective communication
- Interpersonal relations

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required, as the role involves travel within the service area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy and group nutrition and exercise counseling to clients.
- Support, motivate, and educate clients on sustainable healthy eating and exercise habits.
- Assess, design, and evaluate meal and fitness plans tailored to clients' needs.
- Provide nutritional counseling and education that aligns with clients' lifestyles and health requirements.
- Conduct classes and one-on-one sessions addressing various nutritional and health issues.
- Monitor and adjust meal plans based on ongoing assessments of clients' nutrition and activity needs.
- Develop and implement culturally appropriate nutrition strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians to deliver client nutrition recommendations as necessary.
- Document and track patient progress effectively.

Community Engagement:
- Present nutrition information at community events and speaking engagements.
- Translate complex nutrition science into practical advice for clients.

Professional Development:
- Stay updated with the latest research in nutritional science.
- Promote high-quality and effective nutrition services.

This role will be executed in accordance with the policies established by CMAP Express. Teamwork and effective communication are vital for fulfilling responsibilities and achieving organizational objectives.

Job Type: Part-time
