Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Coordinator to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for supervising a team and/or program in a pharmacy specialty area, developing and reviewing clinical protocols and operational policies/procedures, and providing clinical and operational pharmacist services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the activities of a clinical and/or operational team or program.
  • Develop and review clinical protocols and operational policies/procedures.
  • Provide clinical and operational pharmacist services to patients.
  • Identify and implement clinical pathway and/or operational process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, local and institutional policies, procedures, standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree.
  • Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before initiation of employment.
  • Two years of prior pharmacist experience or equivalent required.

This position is employed by NC Health (Rex Healthcare, Inc., d/b/a NC Health), a private, fully-owned subsidiary of UNC Health Care System.
