Job Summary:

As a Pharmacist Coordinator at UNC Health Care, you will play a critical role in leading a team of pharmacists and supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and mentor a team of pharmacists to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care

Develop and implement clinical protocols and operational policies to improve patient outcomes and streamline pharmacy operations

Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and implement process improvements and optimize clinical pathways

Provide formal and informal feedback to team members, including performance reviews and corrective action when necessary

Manage priorities to meet team and organizational expectations

Requirements:

PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree

Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before initiation of employment

Two years of prior pharmacist experience or equivalent required
