Position Overview:
As a Trailer Maintenance Specialist at RICH TRANSPORT LLC, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of vehicle engines, as well as the thorough cleaning of fuel tanks. Your role will involve maintaining hubs and axles, adjusting or replacing them as necessary, and inspecting, servicing, and replacing trailer components, including tires. You will also check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and federal inspections on dry van trailers.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues related to trailer lighting.
  • Performing brake jobs and replacing wheel seals.
  • Executing sheet metal work on dry van trailers, including roof and panel patches.
  • Diagnosing and addressing ABS issues.
  • Utilizing welding and torching techniques on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Carrying out body work on side rails, panels, roofs, and top rails.
  • Repairing overhead and roll-up doors.
  • Performing preventive maintenance on yard trucks.

Qualifications:
While two years of experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in their careers.
