Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnosis.
  • Inspect and test equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
  • Perform safety inspections and prepare safety documents as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and other regulatory agencies.
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in trailer maintenance and repair, or completion of a trade school program.
  • Valid CDL and acceptable MVR required if driving on public roads.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level can be loud at times.
