Job Summary

The Oregon Health & Science University seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Faculty Physician to join our team in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in multiple myeloma and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, advancing research, and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with multiple myeloma in the outpatient setting, including management of complex cases and coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attend on the inpatient bone marrow/hematologic malignancy service, with a focus on treating patients with lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
  • Participate in shared on-call coverage and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the transplant and cellular therapy programs to advance the care of patients with multiple myeloma.
  • Develop and participate in clinical trials, with a focus on improving outcomes for patients with multiple myeloma.
  • Engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups, with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head.
Requirements
  • MD, MD/PhD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon.
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or Oncology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven success working with multi-disciplinary teams, with a history of training focused in oncology.
  • Success in obtaining extramural funds for clinical trials and/or basic science research.
