Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tire and Battery Center Technician to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tire and battery center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding sales and service experiences, educate and mentor new team members, and communicate effectively to ensure seamless operations.
  • Be an Expert: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, and product specifications to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Be a Technologist: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve service experiences, and enhance associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology and systems to make informed business decisions.
  • Be an Owner: Communicate equipment and supply needs to the TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory and safety standards.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, develop and influence others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented style, and understand roadblocks to assist in training team members.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and adapting to change.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid state-issued driver's license
  • To be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in the auto service industry or retail is highly desirable.
