The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with mental health or significant behavioral difficulties. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to our clients.

Job Summary:

  • Support the therapeutic milieu and/or provide individual therapeutic behavioral services under the direction of a Team Lead and Clinical Supervisor.
  • Ensure that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, clients are supervised, safety is maintained, and clients and families are treated with respect and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily assignments and implement individual TBS and/or group services to assigned caseloads.
  • Collaborate with therapists and other providers to deliver daily program services.
  • Document provided services accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collect necessary information for quality and program performance measures.
  • Maintain open communication with parents/guardians and treatment team members.
  • Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans.
  • Complete required educational and training courses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college (combination of education and relevant work experience may be required).
  • Previous experience in a mental health or education setting working with young children, particularly those with mental health or significant behavioral difficulties.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
