Job Overview
Prolink is seeking a skilled Intervention Specialist to deliver tailored educational instruction in accordance with each child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives. This dedicated professional will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support.

About the Role
As an Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering academic instruction in all assigned subjects, including daily living skills.
  • Creating personalized instructional materials that cater to each student's needs and abilities.
  • Fostering a supportive and positive classroom environment to promote student achievement.
  • Evaluating and tracking student progress to inform instruction.
  • Developing IEPs that outline specific objectives, methods, and procedures for meeting individual student needs.
  • Assisting with transition planning and reintegration into community school settings.
  • Employing innovative teaching techniques to engage students in areas of interest.
  • Utilizing career and vocational training methods, including hands-on projects and STEM activities.
  • Participating in team meetings, staff development, and supervision as scheduled.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with high-risk youth, preferably with knowledge of special education classroom instruction and positive behavior supports.
  • An active teaching license and Intervention Specialist certification.
  • A minimum of two years' experience working with this population is highly desirable.

Benefits and Opportunities
This position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, in the range of $50,000 - $70,000 per annum. The job duration is for the full school year, with opportunities for professional growth and development within Prolink.
