- Manage Patient Records: Collect and update patient information accurately, including personal details and medical history.
- Process Insurance Claims: Verify and update patient insurance information, calculate and collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments.
- Communicate Effectively: Respond to patient inquiries, provide information about dental services, appointment availability, and general practice policies.
- Experience: At least 1 year of dental office experience or equivalent in a customer service role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in dental practice management software, and strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
