Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our palliative care programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide palliative care services to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on symptom management, pain control, and quality of life improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and chaplains, to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct regular patient assessments, update care plans, and communicate with patients and families regarding their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our palliative care programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in palliative care.
Requirements
- Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine or a related field.
- Current medical licensure in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical skills and experience in palliative care.
