For over five decades, Adagio Health has been a cornerstone in delivering health, wellness, and nutrition services across Pennsylvania. Annually, we cater to around 100,000 patients and clients. While our primary focus is on women's health, we also extend our services to men, teenagers, the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone seeking care in a supportive and confidential environment. Our organization operates multiple medical facilities in western Pennsylvania, addressing various social determinants of health, including food insecurity and behavioral health. We manage the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program across several counties, promote tobacco and vaping cessation, and facilitate breast and cervical cancer screening and treatment programs statewide. Our mission includes empowering local communities through a variety of clinical and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing nutritional, reproductive, and behavioral health.

We recognize your dedication to nutrition with a $750 sign-on bonus, awarded after completing the initial 90 days of employment.

SUPERVISION: Reports to the Nutrition & Education Programs Supervisor.

This full-time position is based in our Johnstown office, focusing on partnerships within Cambria County. The compensation for this role is set at $19.40 per hour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Facilitate educational programs in diverse environments.
  2. Ensure adherence to curriculum guidelines and program standards.
  3. Deliver engaging and interactive educational sessions.
  4. Foster relationships with program partners to enhance effectiveness.
  5. Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.
  6. Lead and provide technical support for projects based on partner needs.
  7. Utilize indirect channels for program delivery.
  8. Complete necessary documentation and data tracking within specified timelines.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service and assist in participant recruitment.
  10. Collaborate with fellow educators to exchange ideas and strategies.
  11. Be flexible to work in various office locations as required.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree in public health, education, nutrition, or a related discipline is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing, delivering, and assessing educational programs are essential. Experience in youth education and public health is preferred. A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are necessary, as travel is a regular part of the role.
