This non-profit, 400+ bed hospital is part of a distinguished teaching health system located near a major metropolitan area.
- Recognized as a Primary Stroke Center.

- Handles the highest volume of emergency cases in the health system, treating over 70,000 patients annually.
- Supported by a dedicated team including six Charge Nurses, four Flow Coordinators, and an Education Coordinator.
- Reports directly to the Executive Director of Emergency Services.
Position Overview:
The Chief Nursing Officer will oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, focusing on effective staffing strategies, enhancing key performance indicators, mentoring nursing staff, and fostering positive relationships with physicians. We seek a collaborative and dynamic leader dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care to the community.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree required; BSN required.
- Active RN License in the State of Georgia.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in the Emergency Room.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in an ER setting as a Manager or Director.
- Proven track record of success in ER leadership roles.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Collaborative and team-oriented leadership style.
