Job Summary

The Boys And Girls Clubs Of Central Georgia Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating & Programs Officer to lead the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of all programmatic and operational activities. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals, while building and maintaining key partnerships with schools, nonprofits, public officials, and community groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities for programs and operations
  • Manage staff, board, and stakeholder efforts to meet annual program and operational goals
  • Collaborate with program and operations leadership to develop and coach leaders across departments
  • Support leaders in fostering staff development, ensuring exceptional service to volunteers, youth, and families
  • Partner with the CEO to engage with schools, agencies, public officials, and community nonprofits to promote BGCCG and provide impactful solutions for youth and families
  • Track annual program KPIs, analyze data to identify growth opportunities, and establish accountability metrics
  • Lead efforts in hiring, retaining, and developing program and operations staff
  • Partner with the SLT in managing external partnerships and collaborate with the development team to secure and sustain funding
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience overall, with a minimum of six (6) years of senior leadership experience supervising seasoned staff operating multiple sites and programs across a broad geography
  • Management and supervisory experience in a non-profit environment, ideally in a youth-serving / human service environment preferred
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills with a strong customer/client focus are essential, along with the ability to engage effectively with staff, sophisticated volunteers, and donors
  • Attentive and active listening skills, organization, flexible thinking, and ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate ability to manage financial and analytical data and reporting
  • Extensive knowledge of community partners to ensure quality programs and services
  • Commitment to innovation and process improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM packages required (Daxko CRM experience preferred)
