Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations for the Facilities Operations Team in the designated area.
  • Oversee multiple construction and facility-related projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and timelines.
  • Design and implement innovative strategies and processes aimed at reducing overall operational expenses.
  • Enhance team productivity by collaborating closely with Facilities Supervisors.
  • Direct and manage all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Energy Management System (EMS) initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of annual safety management plans for specific buildings.
  • Supervise contract workers responsible for landscaping and housekeeping services.
  • Manage various construction projects, including new builds and renovations, ensuring compliance with budget and design specifications.
  • Request necessary tools, equipment, and supplies for operational efficiency.
  • Oversee large-scale building expansion projects as they arise.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established specifications.
  • Conduct inspections of premises to evaluate safety equipment and identify potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with local authorities for safety and compliance.
  • Provide training to associates on safety protocols, first aid, and fire safety.
  • Supervise team members at various levels, fostering a positive team environment through coaching and mentoring.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, encompassing project management, construction, maintenance, safety, and security.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach and mentor team members.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, team leadership, and communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to perform cost-benefit analyses and assess ROI.
  • Knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems.
