Job Summary

The Lead Neurodiagnostic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic studies on infants and children, which include monitoring equipment calibration and set-up. This role will process documentation in order to provide accurate information to the physician. The successful candidate will be able to perform all duties described as well as distribute the workload and provide oversight of the staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic studies on infants and children, including monitoring equipment calibration and set-up
  • Process documentation to provide accurate information to the physician
  • Distribute workload and provide oversight of staff

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of direct pediatric patient care experience within a hospital setting
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent with completion of Neurodiagnostic program or experience in an EEG Laboratory
  • Ability to work in a team environment with the patience and understanding to work with the pediatric population

Preferred Qualifications

  • Over six (6) years of pediatric experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a high level of patient interaction. The ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service is essential.
