Job Summary:

The University of California, Irvine seeks a skilled Lead CT Technologist to oversee the daily operations of the department technologists, maintain equipment, and ensure quality and cost management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computed Tomography (CT) and excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff and faculty across modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Supervisor with overseeing the daily operations of the department technologists
Maintain equipment and ensure quality and cost management
Collaborate with staff and faculty across modalities
Perform complex CT Imaging procedures following prescribed protocols
Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed

Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years recent CT experience in an Adult Acute Care Facility
Graduate AMA Radiologic Tech program
Fluoroscopy license/certification
Current Basic Life Support Certification
CRT license/certification
Associates Degree in Radiological Services
Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Lead experience
Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
Bachelors Degree in Radiological Sciences
