Job Title: Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at DAP. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for providing capital engineering support within Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute engineering projects for capital installations over $20M+
  • Provide project management from design through startup
  • Develop and implement long-range technical planning and strategies for the business
  • Optimize packaging process and develop packaging automation into reliable and robust production equipment
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities to improve packaging performance, reduce cost, increase material utilization, and improve first-time right
  • Implement necessary changes and update all documentation, including drawings and SOPs
  • Collect, review, and present equipment reliability results and performance data to determine optimal equipment setup
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering (industrial and electrical engineers with hands-on experience will be considered)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret process drawings (process flow diagrams and P&IDs)
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Project management, written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of initiative
