We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join our team at Whitson Law PLLC. As a key member of our family law practice, you will be responsible for handling complex cases, providing expert guidance, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Oversee and manage a heavy caseload, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of cases.
  • Client Representation: Provide expert representation to clients in family law and litigation matters, including trial, mediation, and arbitration.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior attorneys and support staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Communication and Writing: Develop and maintain excellent communication and writing skills, including the preparation of legal documents, briefs, and motions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in family law and litigation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and a law degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Admitted to the New York State Bar Association.
  • Skills: Exceptional time management, interpersonal, and writing skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Training: Certified Divorce SpecialistTM training, 30 hours of basic Mediation training, and 15 hours of Interdisciplinary Collaborative Divorce training.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Westlaw, Ooma, Google Workspace Suite, and Dropbox.
