Job Summary

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Team Lead to support our work with a federal client. This is a Hybrid Role in Burlington, VT and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Public Trust Clearance prior to start.

In this role, you will:

  • Troubleshoot application and infrastructure performance issues, develop recommendations, and implement improvements to resolve trouble tickets from the NOC.
  • Maintain current networks, through migration, and new network environment – wireless and wired, maintain performance tools used to troubleshoot application and network performance issues.
  • Network Subject Matter Expertise in support of all aspects of Network Infrastructure is required - SDN, Advanced Routing. Network Infrastructure includes routers, switches, Load Balancers, Riverbeds, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, ISE, and Wireless concentrators and IDS/IPS devices.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an Enterprise Architect specializing in network infrastructure services including a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud technologies such as but not limited to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience designing critical network infrastructure for a large/complex network.
  • Experience with Enterprise infrastructure and network automation platforms and coding.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions that increase the availability and security of the enterprise.
  • Experience in developing technology roadmaps.
  • Working knowledge of network technologies (SDN, SDWAN, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, application load balancing, network visibility).
  • Working knowledge of network practices, and protocols.
  • Proven experience with on premise physical infrastructure and Virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise route optimization, dynamic routing, packet aggregation, IPV6, and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
  • Working knowledge of networking and security methods and tools.
  • Experience performing network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems at a SME level.
  • Expertise with major networking products from companies similar to Cisco, Juniper and VMWare delivered via major cloud providers.
  • Experience with managing and using DevOps concepts.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree.

Certification:

  • CCIE that has been obtained within the last five years.

Salary: $155,000 to $170,000, Dependent on Experience.
