Job Summary

This role supports loan origination processes for a commissioned loan officer (Mortgage Banker), or certain designated "high volume" Retail branches with the permission of a Regional President.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support loan origination processes for a commissioned loan officer (Mortgage Banker)
  • Assist in registering and maintaining active status with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLSR)
  • Support the origination efforts of their assigned Mortgage Banker as well as a referring Branch Manager
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or approved equivalent
  • Basic algebra and math skills, 10-key and keyboarding, standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and Outlook, along with smart phone and digital channel skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills
  • Candidates must meet all requirements of NML Registry
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior banking experience, including familiarity with lending
  • Previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relations
