Job Title: Safety Engineer I

At Charles Pankow Builders Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Safety Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and identifying potential hazards in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections to identify and mitigate hazards in the workplace
  • Investigate incidents and provide guidance to field operations to prevent future occurrences
  • Collaborate with the project team and Senior Safety Managers to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the safety knowledge and skills of field staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent experience
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
