Job Title: Store Customer Service Specialist

This role is crucial to the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, resolve any concerns promptly, and maintain the high quality and visual standards of our products and store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting suitable products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, fostering trust and loyalty
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Assist with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
  • Stay knowledgeable about products offered and discuss available options
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
