Key Responsibilities:- Guarantee compliance of QMS and CMS with customer expectations, internal protocols, industry standards, and regulatory mandates.
- Deploy tools for capturing product information and maintaining configuration history records.
- Manage a risk register and track performance against quality benchmarks.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of hardware, software, and systems.
- Document and resolve defects related to hardware, software, and processes.
- Engage with customers and suppliers to discuss project objectives.
- Ensure secure storage of product configuration data and achieve external QMS certification.
- Incorporate core competencies into daily operations while adhering to various standards.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Configuration Management is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards and certifications is necessary.
- Security Clearance and US Citizenship are mandatory.
- ASQ certification is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office applications and other essential tools.
Customer Interaction Skills:Strong communication abilities and proficiency in managing customer relationships.
Analytical Skills:Utilize knowledge and best practices to address functional challenges and assess risks.
Work Environment:This position is based in a quiet office environment with minimal distractions.
Physical Requirements:- Occasional walking and stooping may be necessary.
- Ability to lift and bend up to 20 lbs. on occasion.
- Manual dexterity and capability to perform various tasks using hands.
- Hearing and vision capabilities as required.
- Some travel may be necessary.
