COMPENSATION: $16.00 PER HOUR

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Associate serves as the primary point of contact for guests at Running Aces.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage with guests at Running Aces Casino, Hotel & Racetrack on a daily basis.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and approachable demeanor.
  • Handle incoming phone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, providing information or directing calls as necessary.
  • Ensure public materials are up-to-date and manage inventory supplies effectively.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Foster relationships with regular guests and top players.
  • Facilitate the sale of merchandise and ensure compliance with identification requirements for tobacco sales.
  • Regularly assess merchandise presentation and stock levels to meet guest needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the Aces Rewards Front Desk.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of the Front Desk and Lobby areas.
  • Utilize available resources effectively as a team member.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in computer operations, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Experience with cash handling and basic arithmetic skills.
  • Familiarity with Bravo and Micros systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Must acquire comprehensive knowledge of company policies, state regulations, and relevant technical rules within one year.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional guest service skills, telephone etiquette, and computer proficiency are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a lively casino environment with frequent guest interactions.
  • Job may involve interruptions and requires adaptability.
  • Physical demands include frequent sitting, walking, and standing, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Onsite presence is mandatory for this role.
