About Us

Aging in Place Specialists (AIPS) is a locally owned and operated outpatient private practice specializing in home-based geriatric care. Our team utilizes WebPT for our home-based outpatient electronic medical records system.

We are seeking a Full or Part Time Occupational Therapist (Independent Contractor) to provide services to improve functional independence and wellness in Sussex and Kent County, Delaware.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient needs and develop a personalized plan of care
  • Administer targeted treatment to patients
  • Coordinate discharge planning for optimal patient outcomes
  • Patient reassessments to ensure quality care
  • Effective communication with patient physicians and healthcare team members
  • Ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date in the field

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience as a Therapist preferred
  • Experience working with geriatric patients a must
  • High proficiency and comfort level with manual therapy techniques
  • Able to provide proof of valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have a portable computer (iPad, laptop) for documentation purposes
  • Valid documentation to work in the United States

Location: One location in Sussex and Kent County, Delaware.
