Key Duties:

  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC systems
  • Provide outstanding customer service to support the organization's mission

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in commercial HVAC and mechanical maintenance
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Knowledge of building codes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and mechanical maintenance
  • HVAC training and certification
  • State of Virginia Journeyman HVAC License (preferred)

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • State of Virginia Driver's License

Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

Physical Demands:
Light lifting, heavy lifting, pushing/pulling, standing, repetitive motion, walking, climbing, reaching, bending.

Environmental Conditions:
Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, vibrations, fumes, and gases.

Emotional Demands:
Fast-paced environment, multiple stimuli, intense customer interaction, frequent changes.

Mental/Sensory Demands:
Memory, reasoning, hearing, reading, analyzing, logic, verbal and written communication.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 ($28.84/hr - $36.05/hr) + potential sign-on bonus.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Position Level: HVAC FM 1-3 through Senior levels.
