Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited institution

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working around various animal species (i.e., dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.).
  • Client demands and workload may occasionally necessitate more than 40 hours per week to fulfill essential job responsibilities. This role may require special hours, including weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.
  • Must possess cognitive abilities for reasoning, memory, mathematics, and language skills (reading, writing, and speaking in English) to perform duties effectively.
  • The work environment may have moderate noise levels; ear protection will be available upon request.
  • Job requires sufficient mobility to perform necessary duties.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate equipment as needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Team members may be exposed to various animals that may bite, kick, or scratch, and occasionally may encounter anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards, and/or medications.

Hiring eligibility may be contingent upon the candidate completing a satisfactory background check.
