Our extensive community-based and residential programs serve thousands of at-risk youth from birth to age 26, providing safe environments and supportive relationships.


Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a dedicated professional to spearhead the innovative, grant-funded Connected Families Respite Program aimed at supporting families in the Boston area. This initiative focuses on enhancing natural support networks for parents of children with significant social-emotional needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver counseling and therapeutic support to clients.
  • Facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
  • Assist families in addressing various challenges, including communication, parenting skills, substance abuse, domestic violence, and trauma.
  • Coordinate resources and services for clients and families, acting as their advocate.
  • Maintain continuous communication with client collaterals and service providers, including scheduling and attending case conferences.
  • Participate in staff meetings, presenting client cases and collaborating with team members on complex issues.
  • Engage in regular supervision and training to enhance clinical skills.
  • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Document significant client interactions as required.


Driving Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Access to a personal vehicle is necessary for work-related tasks.
  • Transport clients when needed, ensuring compliance with liability insurance requirements.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
