Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the unique needs and goals of each resident are met.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support services are provided.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior, health, or well-being to the team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and transferring residents.
