WHAT IS THE ROLE?

This role is pivotal in collaborating with multiple divisions within the bank to effectively manage client offboarding requests. The incumbent will uphold the utmost confidentiality concerning sensitive and proprietary bank information. This position ensures the operational integrity of deposit accounts and processes transactions in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The offboarding team is responsible for all facets of terminating a client relationship, which includes but is not limited to: account closures, issuing legal correspondence, updating status codes, and securely disposing of client records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle client offboarding requests associated with risk, legal, and regulatory concerns.
  • Execute account closures, update client records with appropriate codes, and manage the purging of client records.
  • Guarantee that all data entry and documentation are completed with operational integrity in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all accounts are closed following established bank policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain precise records of assignments, closures, status updates, and progress.
  • Foster and develop relationships within the organization to address service issues and enhance customer experiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in banking operations within a financial institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking and operations.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.

  • Experience in financial services operations.
  • Critical and strategic thinking skills with knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to produce influential documents, presentations, and facilitate group discussions. Familiarity with financial and budgeting processes.

Compensation:

The starting base salary ranges from $87,027 to $138,965 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
