Your Role:

As a Senior Financial Analyst I, you will excel in developing essential skills to enhance collaboration with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. This added value is reflected in ongoing, reciprocal partnerships across all national and international business units within the Rabobank Group. Such continuous collaboration allows us to achieve shared professional outcomes, prioritizing both short-term and long-term client interests.

Senior Financial Analyst I (SFA-I) reports directly to Financial Analyst Managers (FAMs) within our Customer Relationship Team (CRT) framework. SFA-Is are tasked with comprehensive underwriting of new applications and servicing actions, including renewals, Annual Reviews, partial releases, and monitoring of covenants for assigned areas, sectors, or market segments.

Key Responsibilities:

1) ANALYSIS:

• Evaluate and assess the credit and operational risks of potential clients utilizing various information sources (e.g., financial statements, cash flows, tax returns, and financial trend analyses).
• Accompany Relationship Managers (RMs) on client farm evaluations when necessary.
• Contribute to a thorough understanding of the client's business operations.

2) STRUCTURING:

• Advise on the structuring of credit products in accordance with company policies through detailed analysis.

3) PROCESS SUPPORT:

• Assist RMs in managing their portfolios effectively. Collaborate within the Customer Team (e.g., Credit Officer, RM, and Customer Relationship Specialist) to meet client expectations.

4) MONITORING:

• Oversee loan compliance (e.g., covenant adherence, delinquencies).
• Support the analysis and preparation of annual reviews and loan strategy reports.

5) OTHER DUTIES: Assist with additional tasks assigned by management.

Your Commitment to Us

To qualify for the Senior Financial Analyst I position, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in short- and long-term agricultural credit.
• Proficiency in financial analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability in forecasting and stress testing.
• Competence in risk analysis and interpretation.
• Experience in face-to-face or telephonic client presentations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management abilities.
• Sound judgment capabilities.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $69,000 - $100,000

This position adheres to the terms of Rabobank's compensation policies. The anticipated salary range reflects the desired primary work location and may be adjusted based on geographical factors or other lawful reasons. All full-time regular positions include comprehensive benefits such as healthcare, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, and parental leave, governed by ERISA plan documents and eligibility criteria.
