Your Role:
As a Senior Financial Analyst I, you will excel in developing essential skills to enhance collaboration with clients, members, and colleagues. This added value is reflected in ongoing, reciprocal partnerships among all national and international business units and entities within the Rabobank Group. The Senior Financial Analyst I (SFA-I) reports directly to Financial Analyst Managers (FAMs) within our Customer Relationship Team (CRT) framework. SFA-Is are accountable for comprehensive underwriting of new applications and servicing tasks, including renewals, Annual Reviews, partial releases, and covenant monitoring for relationships within an assigned area, sector, or market segment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) ANALYSIS:
- Evaluate and assess the (potential) client's credit and operational risk utilizing various information sources (e.g., customer credit and operational risks, current and historical financial statements, cash flows, tax returns, and financial trend analyses).
- Accompany Relationship Managers (RMs) on customer evaluations when necessary.
- Contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the client's business operations.
- Propose the structure of credit products in accordance with company policies through detailed analysis.
- Assist RMs in all aspects of managing their portfolio effectively. Collaborate efficiently within the Customer Team (e.g., Credit Officer, RM, and Customer Relationship Specialist) to meet client expectations.
- Oversee loan compliance (e.g., covenant adherence, delinquencies).
- Support the analysis and preparation of annual reviews and loan strategy reports.

- A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of short- and long-term agricultural credit.
- Proficiency in financial analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in forecasting and stress testing.
- Ability to conduct risk analysis and interpretation.
- Competence in face-to-face or telephonic client presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Sound judgment capabilities.

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $69,000 - $100,000
This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range, which reflects the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted based on geographical differentiation or other lawful reasons. Additionally, all full-time regular positions include comprehensive benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, potential discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits governed by ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
