Key Responsibilities:- Lead our QA teams to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation meet our high-quality standards.
- Provide guidance to employees on QA checks, documentation, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding GMPs, HACCP, processing analysis, and environmental monitoring.
- Coach QA employees to follow company procedures and train new employees on standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that the daily workload is equally distributed based on priority and ability.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the QA Manager.
- Occasionally inspect products or surfaces using tools such as thermometers, gas analyzers, food scales, and gas analyzers.
- Update quality numbers in the computer system and use computer programs for data entry.
- A leader who fosters team cooperation and maintains momentum to meet goals and deadlines.
- Leadership skills to train and develop a large group of employees and ongoing process improvement.
- Performance Management skills for assigned production lines, hiring, promotions, and performance reviews.
- Problem-solving and analysis skills, professional and confidential.
- Results-driven and able to communicate effectively with tact and diplomacy.
- Time management skills to track and monitor production and maintain productivity.
- Technical capacity in sanitation, food safety, and quality, as well as computer literacy.
- Learning orientation and ability to take direction and relay information to employees.
- Associate's Degree or related field experience preferred.
- 1 or more years of related experience.
- Expected to obtain certification as a power material handling equipment operator.
- Basic math skills and basic computer skills knowledge.
