About the Role:

The Personal Banker plays a crucial role in providing an outstanding customer experience. This position involves cultivating new and enhancing existing client relationships by identifying needs through thoughtful inquiries, recommending suitable products and services, and connecting customers with the appropriate business partners within the bank when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through prompt acknowledgment, identifying and suggesting products and services, and addressing inquiries efficiently.
  • Build rapport by engaging in meaningful consultations with customers.
  • Provide comprehensive clerical support for deposit and consumer loan accounts, business accounts, collections, wire transfers, safe deposit contracts, and transaction processing.
  • Assist Client Service Specialists as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and procedures.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively.
  • Exhibit proficiency with basic business, consumer, and trust entities.
  • Begin learning about consumer lending.
  • Start mentoring fellow team members on products, services, and business partners.
  • Assist the Assistant Manager with operational responsibilities and tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
About You:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the products and services offered.
  • Ability to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Skills in cash handling, balancing, and calculations.
  • Capacity to manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
  • Support the branch's objective of identifying and referring various bank products and services to the appropriate business partners.
  • Focus on expanding customer relationships, emphasizing the creation of new connections and the enhancement of existing ones through personal and business rapport.
  • Knowledge of state laws related to products and services (specific training tracks may apply).
  • Willingness to obtain NMLS certification.
  • Previous experience as a Client Service Specialist or in banking is preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Workstyle: Fully onsite

Our Benefits:

We provide a competitive total rewards package that includes base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this position is $21.00, with the final pay rate determined by various non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may also be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, with details shared during the recruitment process.
