Marketing Content Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in promoting CORE4 Athletic Complex as a premier sport, recreation, and training destination. This position will work with event providers/vendors, be responsible for promoting primary revenue streams through effective marketing and advertising efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Create a comprehensive marketing plan in partnership with the General Manager to drive business growth and revenue.
- Execute the marketing plan and strategic initiatives to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Manage and update the venue website to ensure accuracy, relevance, and user experience.
- Develop and implement content marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Design and create visual content, including flyers, promotional materials, and social media assets.
- Manage social media business accounts, including regular posting, content calendar management, and engagement.
- Prepare and present regular reporting on marketing strategy and results to stakeholders.
- Capture high-quality video content of guests, leagues, events, and programs to showcase the venue's offerings.
- Develop creative ideas to improve foot traffic, customer retention, and loyalty.
- Create and execute promotional contests, giveaways, and membership events to drive engagement and revenue.
- Build relationships with schools, churches, and other businesses to increase partnerships and revenue streams.
- Increase social media followers and positive Google reviews to enhance the venue's online reputation.
- Update in-house digital marketing/advertising campaigns to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Monitor guest feedback, reviews, and ratings, and present trends to the General Manager to inform marketing strategies.
- Assist with complex public relations efforts, inquiries, and strategies to maintain a positive public image.
- Proven success in generating awareness through consumer marketing and branding.
- Experience in youth and amateur sports as a consumer, marketing professional, or other relevant experience.
- Action-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiency.
- Experience with DSLR camera for photos and video is preferred.
- Experience in using a CRM to manage and nurture potential or current customers.
- Proven experience in the successful launch of destination-specific advertising/marketing campaigns.
- Experience and success in promoting special events.
- Prior experience in marketing research to gain consumer insights (locally, regionally, and nationally) to identify key selling points for attracting corporate/organization relationships.
- Management of venue website in the WordPress platform.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or advertising; or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in measuring and reporting marketing/advertising campaign analytics to ultimately measure ROI, efficiency, and effectiveness of campaign activity.
- Ability to develop content and write with company voice in mind.
- Experience in managing business accounts on a variety of social media platforms.
- Technologically savvy with skills in using multiple platforms or software for a variety of tasks.
- Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Entry level or beginner knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in InDesign and Illustrator.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
- Team player with a deadline-driven attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours).
- Ability to lift 30 pounds waist high.
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, and squat, stoop, or bend.
- Will be required to operate a computer.
- Facility has intermittent loud noise levels.
