Position Overview
This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and functionality of our fleet and construction machinery. As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various mechanical equipment, including trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect machinery to identify defects.
- Dismantle equipment to access and replace faulty components using hand tools and hoists.
- Assess parts for wear and detect any imperfections.
- Inspect used components to evaluate changes in specifications.
- Adjust and fine-tune functional parts and control instruments.
- Install specialized parts and perform necessary lubrication and cleaning.
- Conduct performance tests on machinery post-repair.
- Execute welding tasks on broken components and structural elements.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction and paving equipment is essential.
- Welding skills are a plus.
- Experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel repairs is advantageous.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and correspondence.
- Basic mathematical skills are necessary for measurements and calculations.

Physical Requirements
The role demands physical capabilities, including:
- Frequent sitting, climbing, and use of hands for handling tools.
- Occasional standing, walking, crawling, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and move weights ranging from 10 to 100 lbs.
