Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Operator Maintenance professional to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our food processing machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain food processing machines and equipment to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and maintain high production standards.
  • Inspect machines and equipment regularly for irregularities and malfunctions, and implement corrective measures promptly to prevent disruptions in production.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot machine-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety and food hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production goals and maintain machine efficiency.
  • Document and maintain records of machine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for reference and auditing purposes.
  • Train other team members on the operation and maintenance of machines and equipment as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of experience in machine operation and maintenance, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of food processing machines and equipment.
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to read and understand manuals and schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy machinery parts and work in a demanding environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. A technical certification or relevant training in machine operation or maintenance will be an added advantage.
