Mail Room Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mail Room Clerk to join our team at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling mail and packages, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Sort and distribute mail and packages in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain accurate records and reports
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
One year of experience in customer service, clerical, or administrative support
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a mail room environment with frequent exposure to noise and distractions
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Salary:
$2,934.37 per month
