Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Complete order writer training and accurately process orders for perishable and non-perishable grocery products.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including back stock, to ensure optimal product availability and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
  • Merchandising: Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Store Operations: Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensure accuracy of signs and pricing, and maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 12+ months retail experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of grocery products, working knowledge and application of all grocery merchandising expectations, strong basic math skills, and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and ordering systems.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day, and work in a wet and cold environment.
