Job Overview


The Ladders is in search of a Lead Financial Analyst to enhance our finance team.

As a dynamic organization, we specialize in providing tailored solutions that encompass rapid project execution, specialized engineering services, and advanced system development.

**This role requires a strong presence within our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute journal entries during the month-end and annual closing processes, focusing on intricate and sensitive areas in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and CFO to analyze financial data for accurate financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in ensuring timely and precise month-end and annual accounting closures.
  • Prepare documentation, schedules, and workpapers to support annual financial audits, tax submissions, and compliance activities.
  • Oversee compliance with internal controls.
  • Establish and uphold consistent accounting policies in line with U.S. GAAP.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance staff members.
  • Liaise with other departments to guarantee the accuracy of information necessary for financial statement preparation.
  • Provide support to the CFO and Accounting Manager on various ad hoc projects and tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as required to fulfill accounting functions and maintain compliance with financial systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fundamental auditing principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite and Paychex is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of DCAA compliance is a plus.
