Job Summary

At Synectics Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of patient samples and laboratory results.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare setting; phlebotomy experience a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
