**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for exercising independent judgment in directing and supervising the provision of occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and exercise independent judgment in coordinating the home care course of treatment and assigning significant overall duties to subordinate personnel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, preparing, or carrying out individually designed programs of treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
  • Evaluating effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
  • Maintaining and exhibiting a current knowledge of profession and participates in continuing education.

**Requirements:**
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • A valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Maine.
  • Ability to travel within assigned region as directed.

**Working Conditions:**
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive people, lifting, moving and loading 30 to 50 pounds, prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and extending body and limbs to reach items.

**Salary Range:**
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
