The Doe Run Company is seeking a Mine Supervisor to oversee the management and delivery of mining crew assignments, ensuring safe and efficient production at our Brushy Creek Mine in Boss, MO.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to employees to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Determine and assign tasks to employees to optimize their time and productivity.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation, including time sheets, production reports, and equipment preshifts.
  • Monitor employees and work areas to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient site operations and effective communication.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of utility infrastructure, including power lines, air and water lines, roads, and mine pumps.
  • Partner with other mine leadership to facilitate optimal performance and ensure compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mining or a related field.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
Work Environment:

The Mine Supervisor will work in a fast-paced underground mining environment, frequently exposed to wet, humid conditions, and occasionally required to work in confined spaces, near moving mechanical parts, and at heights with fall protection.

The ideal candidate will possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and Invoicing, and have a proficient knowledge of ore extraction and mining process methods, as well as MSHA mine safety laws.
